    Travis Swikard

    CHEF/OWNER

    San Diego native Chef Travis Swikard spent over a decade in New York City cooking alongside Daniel Boulud and Gavin Kaysen before returning home to open Callie, where his bright, ingredient-driven “Cuisine du Soleil” earned national recognition from the Michelin Guide, Esquire, and Robb Report. He has since expanded with Fleurette in La Jolla, named one of Robb Report’s 13 Most Exciting Restaurant Openings in America, celebrating the flavors of the French-Italian Riviera.

    Ann Sim

    HOSPITALITY LEADER

    A Southern California native, Ann Sim was raised in a family rooted in hospitality. After earning a B.A. in Art History, she moved to New York City pursuing the art world before finding her true calling in restaurants. She began her fine dining career with Daniel Boulud’s group before joining Eleven Madison Park, rising to Captain during its award-winning years, including #1 on World’s 50 Best Restaurants in 2017. After helping open The NoMad Hotel in Los Angeles, Ann returned to San Diego to join Callie’s opening team and is now Director of Operations, overseeing Callie and Fleurette.

    Mia Swikard

    HEAD OF MARKETING

    With a background in luxury beauty and brand building, most notably as a founding member of Westman Atelier, Mia brings a deep focus on storytelling, craftsmanship, and guest experience. She has led Callie’s marketing since its opening, shaping the restaurant’s voice and connection to its community. Mia now oversees marketing for both Callie and Fleurette, building their shared identity and growing the family business alongside her husband, Chef Travis Swikard.


  • Adrian Tarango

    CHEF DE CUISINE

    Born in San Diego and raised in Tijuana, Adrian Tarango began his culinary journey as a dishwasher at The Marine Room, where he rediscovered a childhood love of cooking sparked by watching Iron Chef with his mom. After returning to San Diego in 2018, he connected with Chef Travis Swikard, who became a mentor as Adrian refined his craft. Through dedication and discipline, he rose through the ranks at Callie—from prep cook to his current role as Chef de Cuisine.


  • Meg Hoag

    EXECUTIVE SOUS CHEF

    Born in Maryland and raised in North Carolina, Meg found her love for cooking through family meals where food, time, and care were inseparable. After earning culinary and pastry degrees at Johnson & Wales and cooking at Stagioni in Charlotte, she moved to San Diego in search of growth. Meg joined Callie on pasta prep and worked her way up to Executive Sous Chef, leading with warmth, consistency, and a belief in scratch-made food full of care.

  • Sabrina Ward

    GENERAL MANAGER

    A San Diego native raised in Coronado, Sabrina Ward has nearly 20 years of experience in hospitality. From the start, she knew her calling was taking care of people. A true people person with a love of food and wine, she blends operational excellence with hospitality rooted in caring for people, fostering a supportive, high-performing team and ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. For Sabrina, hospitality is about connection, celebration, and joy around the table.

  • Schuyler Munroe

    LEAD SOMMELIER

    Born in Colorado and raised across 12 states, Schuyler “Skye” Munroe learned early how to connect easily with new people. After serving in the U.S. Army, he was drawn to the energy of restaurant life and dedicated himself to wine. In San Diego, he became wine buyer at Vino Carta, where he honed his love for small producers and expressive bottles. Driven by curiosity and a commitment to growth, Skye now leads Callie’s wine program, making wine feel welcoming, expressive, and fun to explore.

  • Oswaldo Mendoza

    LEAD BARTENDER

    Born in Quecholac, Puebla, Oswaldo Mendoza began his hospitality journey in Salt Lake City before moving to New York City, where he worked his way from delivery boy and barback to bar lead at West Village restaurants. Mentors there shaped his love for craft cocktails, wine, and hospitality rooted in warmth and generosity. After moving to San Diego, he joined Callie’s opening team, where he has worked his way up to Lead Bartender, bringing creativity and joy to every drink.

    Brittany Curtright

    PRIVATE EVENTS MANAGER

    Originally from Santa Rosa in Sonoma County, Brittany Curtright built her career around connecting with people. After time in both restaurants and healthcare, she returned to San Diego knowing it felt like home. She joined Callie shortly after opening, moving from host to Private Events Manager. Brittany brings warmth, intention, and a love of bringing people together—ensuring every event feels personal, welcoming, and thoughtfully celebrated.
